MJSL LEAD­ERS Roy’s Rovers went four points clear in the Pre­mier Di­vi­sion af­ter in­flict­ing a rare de­feat over reign­ing cham­pi­ons Leeds J-Uni.

Mike Gast­wirth de­stroyed the York­shire stu­dents with four goals in a 53 win. Tal Mar­cus claimed the other. Matt Beilin (2) and Paul Har­ris replied.

The match ended in drama with ref­eree Tim My­er­son send­ing off three Leeds play­ers.

Manch­ester Mac­cabi 4th dealt a blow to South Manch­ester Mac­cabi 2nds’ ti­tle as­pi­ra­tions with a 2-0 vic­tory.

Crump­sall 1st claimed their first league win with a 5-2 suc­cess against South Manch­ester Mac­cabi 3rd. Mark Stein­berg led the way with a tre­ble.

Crump­sall 2nd beat Manch­ester Mac­cabi 5th 4-2 score­line and Michael Pf­ef­fer bag­ging a brace.

In the Peter Mor­ri­son Tro­phy North­ern zone round one, South Manch­ester 1st beat Oakhill Li­ons 3-2, Leeds beat Harold­eans 2-1 and Glas­gow over­came Manch­ester Mac­cabi 2nd 4-2.
