FREE WIRELESS ACCESS AT MCDONALD’S

The Jewish Chronicle - - BUSINESS -

I AM GOING to suggest a first for a JC column — it is time for you to visit McDonald’s. For the fast-food empire is one of the first national chains to offer free wireless internet access. It is currently available in around 300 of its 1,200 restaurants, but should be in all by the end of the year. And no, you do not have to buy food or drink to take advantage. Considering that Starbucks and Costa Coffee charge around £10 per hour, this is a really good deal. Another option is the JD Wetherspoon pub chain, where a purchase entitles you to a voucher for 30-minute wireless access.
