BROIGES* OF THE WEEK

ISI LEIBLER V DAVID LANDAU

The Jewish Chronicle - - Features -

JEWISH community leader Isi Leibler has launched a stinging attack on Ha’aretz editor David Landau for his supposed “radical” left politics. He writes in The Jerusalem Post: “Landau allegedly even refuses to correct articles containing blatantly false information if they conflict with his political agenda.” His bile intensifies when he refers to Landau “soft-pedalling” alleged corruption by Israeli leaders Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert. “Scandalous,” he fumes. *BROIGES [noun]: A simmering Jewish dispute, somewhere between a row and a grudge
