RYMAN LEAGUE Wingate & Finchley manager Michael Stone has expressed “delight” over the return to the club of striker Dean Nyman.
The marksman first joined the blues in 1998 and, after scoring in his first full game, he netted in the 4-0 win over Clapton that confirmed promotion.
He went on to make 142 appearances for the club and scored 24 goals. After spells at Enfield Town and BrentwoodTown,Nyman marked his return to the Abrahams Stadium with the winning goal i n Saturday’s 3-2 win over Tilbury in the Ryman League Division One North.
S t o n e s a i d : “Dean is a player whom I believe has many qualities to be successful at this level. Above anything else, he is a committed and determined player who now needs to settle in an environment in which he can flourish.
“Securing Dean is certainly a positive signing for the club, that not only strengthens our attacking options within the team but also shows our determination in making forward progress.”
