SHADOW COMMUNITY Cohesion Minister Baroness Warsi paid a factfinding visit to Stamford Hill to see how the Charedi community was integrating in Hackney.

Her itinerary took in the Mother and Baby Home in Stamford Hill and the Agudas Israel Housing Association in Schonfeld Square. She also discussed community relations with members of the local Jewish-Muslim Council.

Conservative politician Eric Ollerenshaw, who was involved in the visit, said that Baroness Warsi had been “extremely impressed with the level of community work among the Orthodox Jews in and around Hackney”.
