WE LOVED:

The Jewish Chronicle - - COMMENT&ANALYSIS -

“In a way, the stress, strain and expense of Passover are all part of the magic. The foods — especially the ritualised seder meals — become all the more alluring for being seen, smelled and tasted only once a year. Matza brei, the soft-yet-crunchy, delicious breakfast made from matza... transports me instantly back to the kitchen of my grandmother, who died two years ago. I miss her, but I feel close to her again when I cook the meals she used to make.” NAOMI ALDERMAN, THE GUARDIAN, APRIL 16
