Masters ready to shine

MASTERS A Mac­cabi Masters Foot­ball League rep team will play an ex-pro­fes­sional and celebrity Arse­nal XI in a fundrais­ing match on June 15.

Money raised from the game at Edg­ware Town FC, will go to Ac­tion Duchenne — the main UK char­ity for Duchenne Mus­cu­lar Dys­tro­phy and Tree­house — the na­tional char­ity for autism ed­u­ca­tion.

MAC­CABIAH Team GB Un­der 16 fut­sal have ap­pointed Matt Travers as coach for the squad vy­ing for hon­ours at next year’s Jewish Olympics.

Brian Green, joint-chair of Ju­nior and Youth foot­ball, said: “His ex­ten­sive coach­ing ex­pe­ri­ence and con­tacts within the Jewish youth clubs make him a very wel­come ad­di­tion to our man­age­rial team.”
