SIR ALAN IS A BAD REP

The Jewish Chronicle - - Comment&analysis -

“Too bad that wealth and age spoke for the rest of us,” writes David Rowan about Shimon Peres’s recent 3,000-strong, hideously smug “Facing Tomorrow” conference in Israel ( JC, May 23). What a wonderful, brave article. How ironic then that in the same paper just the week before, Jonathan Freedland — of all people — nominated Sir Alan Sugar as the “de facto representative of British Jewry”. Perhaps, Mr Rowan, you should fire him... Simon Platman simonplatman@hotmail.com
