ALIVE AND FIGHTING
Contrary to your reference to the “late trades-union leader Jack Jones” ( JC, May 23), Jack was in fine form when we celebrated his 95th birthday on March 29.
He is still, as your article states, a very “good example of an older person who fought for grey rights” and remains a very active life president of the National Pensioners’ Convention.
We hope he will attend the NPC annual parliament in Blackpool next month. Monty Meth Lakenheath, London N14
