TEENAGE striker Ri­cardo En­gle­man has made a great start to the South Mid­lands League Premier Divi­sion cam­paign, hit­ting four goals in five games for Hilling­don Bor­ough.

Born in Pin­ner, Mid­dle­sex, En­gle­man, who has a Jewish fa­ther and Colom­bian mother, earned Boro a point with a 63rd minute header in the clash against leaders Dun­sta­ble Town.

The much-trav­elled marks­man grew up in South Africa and Spain. He en­joyed a suc­cess­ful spell in Mar­bella where he be­came the first English player to play for San Pe­dro de Al­can­tara FC at men’s level and, aged 17, he fin­ished top-scorer for the club’s Un­der 19 in the same sea­son.

Team GB mid­fielder Jonathan Kur­rant has joined Lough­bor­ough Dy­namos of the Unibond League First Divi­sion South.
