Your fea­ture on Katz’s haimishe deli in New York ( JC, July 29) over­looked the 2nd Av­enue Deli, which in my view is even bet­ter than Katz’s.

It may have moved from its orig­i­nal site but is now even eas­ier to find, at 162 East 33rd Street be­tween Lex­ing­ton and Third Av­enue.

The food and ser­vice are ex­cel­lent but re­mem­ber to ask for corned beef rather than pas­trami in your “In­stant Heart At­tack” sand­wich or­der, if you want the Amer­i­can ver­sion of our salt beef.
