CLOSE TO 90 peo­ple at­tended a Yoni BBYO or­gan­ised Shab­bat lunch at Not­ting­ham He­brew Con­gre­ga­tion to raise aware­ness of WaterAid – which uses prac­ti­cal so­lu­tions to pro­vide wa­ter to the world’s poor­est peo­ple. Lo­cal BBYO ex­e­cec­u­tive mem­bers Aviva McLeod-En­gel­hard, Char­lotte Joseph, Liora En­gels­berg and Isaac Tendler brought to­gether their com­mu­nity, BBYO mem­bers from Lon­don, Birm­ing­ham and Dublin, and a rep­re­sen­ta­tive from WaterAid for the meal and a Shab­bat ap­pro­pri­ate train­ing pro­gramme to in­spire lo­cal youth to or­gan­ise equiv­a­lent events around the coun­try.
