The Jewish Chronicle - - Comment & Analysis -

What a testosterone-fuelled male congregation there is at Hendon Adath, to be so distracted by a glimpse of “besheitled”, modestly dressed women behind the existing lattice mechitzah ( JC, August 5).

A far less expensive option to a one-way glass mechitzah would be to place a basket of burkas at the entrance to the ladies’ gallery, for each woman to take as she enters. Surely Tehran would be pleased to provide these at a discount.

All temptation removed, eyes back to the sidra, gentlemen — job done! Sara Russoff sararussoff@onetel.com
