Saul Friend, a pupil at Univer­sity Col­lege School, can be seen at The King’s Head Theatre in Is­ling­ton as Miles in Ben­jamin Brit­ten’s op­er­atic ver­sion of Henry James’ ghost story.

He made his screen de­but when he was just six-years-old in the Na­tional Geo­graphic doc­u­men­tary, In­side The Liv­ing Body.

Saul didn’t find the Turn of the Screw par­tic­u­larly fright­en­ing. “It’s not scary,” he said. “But then I’m in it so I don’t see that side.”
