EDITOR SAYS...

The Jewish Chronicle - - Travel -

BEFORE you set off on your travels, there are two things you need to check.

Firstly, be clear about your checkin time as this can differ from airline to airline.

Secondly, make sure you check which terminal you are scheduled to fly from. Arriving at the wrong one could lead to missing your flight.

Take into consideration that it can take 30 minutes to get from one terminal to another if you have gone to the wrong one at Heathrow.

Note also that British Airways has its home in terminals three and five and, for a short while, on terminal one as well. easyjet operates from both sides of Gatwick.

And one more thing: do write down the exact location you parked your car. Sure, it sounds obvious, but even seasoned travellers have been known to forget this tiny detail — and regret it on their return.
