THE powers that be at Malaysia Airlines have responded to the many complaints about noisy kids in business class by banning them — the kids that is, not the complainants. The 66 business class seats on the top deck will be a child-free zone (a child is anyone aged 11 or under) on their A380 on the London-kuala Lumpur route, due to start in July. Child-free areas will be imposed on flights to Sydney too from September. One wonders if the idea will fly. www.malaysiaair
