The Jewish Chronicle - - COMMENT -

We have just experienced one of the most horrible heartbreaking murders that the state of Israel and the people of Israel have ever known. The murders of the three young yeshiva students has affected all the people of Israel. Everyone identifies with their children. All the children of Israel are precious and all of us are mourning.

How cowardly these murderers are! They killed for absolutely no reason except to kill Jews. Instead of protecting and abetting evil in the world the nations should be proclaiming that they will help Israel maintain itself as a beacon of light in the long night which is descending upon the world. Western civilisation will disappear if nothing is done because of cowardice and confusion. Thelma Susswein Chaim Vital Street, Jerusalem
