HAMAS: ‘DEAD CIVILIANS PRIVILEGED’

The Jewish Chronicle - - NEWS -

HAMAS has been seeking to justify the many civilian deaths in Gaza in order to shore up support for its war.

Alongside pictures of dead civilians, a Hamas TV host explained last week that since in Islam a person’s time of death is predetermined by Allah, the people who have been killed had actually “gained”. They will be martyred in paradise, the host said.

Meanwhile, Israeli officials said that several Western journalists working in Gaza had been harassed and threatened by Hamas for documenting cases in which the terrorist group has involved civilians in warfare against Israel. According to the photographers who had taken pictures of Hamas operatives preparing to shoot rockets from within civilian structures, and/or fighting in civilian clothing, were then bullied and had their equipment taken away.
