RONY YEDIDIA Clein, director of public diplomacy at the Israeli embassy in London, visited Cardiff on a twoday mission promoting Israel. Her visit included a talk at Cardiff United Synagogue where 50 people from across the community heard her talk about the current situation in Israel. The event was organised by the Israel Information Centre Wales under the auspices of Philip Kaye, Honorary Consul of Israel in Wales and Linda Harris, director of IIC Wales.
ALMOST 200 people attended Cardiff Reform Synagogue’s garden party in the grounds of Llysfaen Primary School where £1,513 was raised for shul funds. The event was organised by the synagogue’s development officer, Tracy Israel, and a committee of shul members. Stalls and entertainment included a tombola, a jazz band and afternoon tea.
