GAIL RE­BUCK IS MADE PEER BY MILIBAND

PUB­LISHER GAIL Re­buck was one of 22 new work­ing peers an­nounced by Down­ing Street. Dame Gail, the chair­man of Pen­guin Ran­dom House, was nom­i­nated by Labour leader Ed Miliband. He said: “She has made a huge con­tri­bu­tion to Bri­tish busi­ness.” Dame Gail is the widow of Philip Gould, who, be­fore his death in 2011, was an ad­viser to Tony Blair.
