The crass stupidity of whomsoever at the Edinburgh Festival was responsible for the exclusion of the Israeli Incubator Theatre was contrasted by the excellent performance a full house at London’s JW3 has just enjoyed.
They need not have been embarrassed, for there was absolutely not one word in the performance about rockets being aimlessly fired towards civilians, no hint of children being kept in areas where missiles were stored and fired, or in blocks from the base of which tunnels were dug. Not a hint of the terrorists at all. Just a compact and ingenious performance by five talented young actors.
Thank you, Edinburgh, for enabling Glasgow, Leeds and London to see this brilliant show. If this is an example of how they think in Scotland’s capital, I can’t wait till England attains its independence. Barrington Black Redington Rd, London NW3
