It’s all very well hold­ing a flag­wav­ing sing-song in Trafal­gar Square or writ­ing letters to MPs, but ral­lies do lit­tle to con­vince the un­con­vinced while even Jewish MPs are re­luc­tant to poke their heads above the para­pet in the run up to a gen­eral elec­tion.

How dif­fi­cult would it be to form a co-or­di­nat­ing group made up of rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the ma­jor Jewish or­gan­i­sa­tions that would en­sure that Jewish protest was effective, vo­cif­er­ous and nu­mer­i­cally strong? Jef­frey Leader Mel­lows Road Clay­hall, Es­sex
