FOOTBALL AN­THONY Gell­man watched Manch­ester Mac­cabi 1st main­tain their blis­ter­ing start and said: Bring on South Manch­ester.

The Ac­coun­tants Premier League lead­ers face their ri­vals in a crunch early sea­son clash on Sun­day.

Adam Stephens’ late win­ner was enough to see off Lawds. South Manch­ester re­main on their coat­tails af­ter cruis­ing past Miam Miam Celtic 5-0.

Gell­man said: “We have started well but a real test comes against South Manch­ester. They have started well so some­thing will have to give. We feel con­fi­dent go­ing into that game. Ev­ery­one knows their job.”

Max Rose’s brace had put them in com­mand be­fore Lawds hit back in the clos­ing stages – only for the ex- AFC Flix­ton man to grab the dra­matic win­ner.

AFC Flix­ton put PWC to the sword in their 6-2 win. Rick Walker’s tre­ble was enough to see them coast home.

Co-man­ager Stu­art Del­monte said: “It was as com­fort­able as the score­line sug­gests. We were clin­i­cal in front of goal.”

Manch­ester Mac­cabi 2nds sit top of Di­vi­sion One. Louis Abra­ham­son (3), Sam Moglin and Matt Fein­gold hit the net in their 5-0 romp at Chorl­ton.
