THE BOARD of Deputies’ Jewish Living Exhibition opened in Ipswich on Monday in the presence of the Mayor, Councillor Glen Chisholm, and other civic leaders. Board vicepresident Sheila Gewolb said at the launch: “I believe it is so important in today’s troubled climate that we do everything we can to help prevent misconceptions about all minority faiths. Mistrust and fear of the other can lead to race hate and antisemitism.” Thousands of people view the travelling exhibition every year and its Ipswich staging was arranged in association with Suffolk Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education.
