PARTYING IN THE PARK
FAMILIES TURNED out in force for Sunday’s Party@thePark, which raised more than £20,000 for Jewish Child’s Day.
Close on 3,000 adults and children enjoyed activities both leisurely and athletic at Allianz Park in Mill Hill — from the zip line and rodeo bull to crazy golf and hair braiding. The kosher food court did a roaring trade and the charity’s new song, Here to Stay, was launched with an early afternoon flash mob.
JCD executive director Melanie Klass said the JC- partnered event had “surpassed our expectations, both in terms of numbers attending and financial support. All profits from the day will go towards improving the lives of Jewish children in need around the world. We are so appreciative of the 90 volunteers who helped out.”
