MANCH­ESTER MU­SEUM IS HAPPY TO BE IN A JAM

MANCH­ESTER JEWISH Mu­seum has joined forces with ex­per­i­men­tal arts or­gan­i­sa­tion Video Jam to host a line-up of mu­si­cians, film­mak­ers and films for next month’s Video Jam @ MJM. Mu­si­cians will in­clude ac­claimed band Flamin­gods, Liver­pool-based com­poser and in­stru­men­tal­ist Alex Cotrell and Manch­ester’s multi-faith choir the Sa­cred Sounds Women’s Choir. Sup­ported by the Her­itage Lot­tery Fund, Video Jam @ MJM is part of the mu­seum’s “syna-gig” sea­son, help­ing the mu­seum ex­plore ways of bring­ing the his­toric land­mark at­trac­tion to life. Video Jam spokesper­son Shereen Per­era said: “Video Jam @ MJM is the most di­verse pro­gramme we have cu­rated so far.”
