The Jewish Chronicle - - COMMENT -

Although Lord Sacks makes a powerful biblical case for the use of prayer in delivering Israel from present terror in Jerusalem ( JC online, Oct 16),the problem is that the other side are also praying to the very same God.

Every time an Arab goes into battle he shouts Allahu Akbar, God is great. But God did not stop the genocide of Jews in the Holocaust any more than he has saved the lives of Muslims fighting in Syria. The Arab-Israeli conflict cannot be solved by prayer. Stan Labovitch Vale Road Windsor
