FOOTBALL RIC Blank insists Oakwood A will not get carried away with themselves following the 4-1 demolition of Faithfold A.

Guy Helman, Josh Rose, Brad Wine and Anthony Kintish fired the Oaks to their third win in four league games to boost their MGBSFL Premier Division aspirations.

“We were fantastic again,” said Oakwood joint-manager Ric Blank. “Once we settled there was no stopping us.”

“We moved the ball from back to front irresistibly. I’m really happy with how we are playing. Tougher tests await, we know that, but we just need to keep going and not get carried away with ourselves.”

Will Castle singled out captain Rob Hershkorn after a deadly double lifted Camden Park to the top of the MGBSFL Premier Division.

Hershkorn moved on to eight goals for the season in a 2-0 success over FC Team A.

“It was another great performance to make it four wins from four,” said Castle. “It was a fantastic battle but there’s no stopping Rob at the moment.

“I can’t fault my skipper. He sets an example and leads from the front. This was our first real test since we were thrashed by Hendon and we passed with flying colours.”

James Gershfield, Dan Green and Adam Arnold fired braces as Harmen registered their biggest win of the season with an 8-1 mauling of Blizzard Storm.
