JC reporter wins young jour­nal­ist of year award

JC REPORTER Sandy Rashty has col­lected a lead­ing award for her work.

Ms Rashty, 26, re­ceived the Young Jour­nal­ist of the Year prize in the an­nual GG2 Lead­er­ship Awards, spon­sored by the Daily Mail.

The judges re­ferred specif­i­cally to Ms Rashty’s in­ter­views with Nigel Farage and Tommy Robin­son.

The award recog­nised high-achievers from mi­nor­ity com­mu­ni­ties in Bri­tain and cov­ered 11 cat­e­gories. Busi­ness Sec­re­tary Sa­jid Javid was named the most in­flu­en­tial Asian.
