MAYORAL CANDIDATE QUESTIONED AT JFS
JFS PLAYED host to the Conservative candidate for London Mayor, Zac Goldsmith.
The Richmond Park MP took questions from 250 students at the Kenton, north-west London school last Thursday, covering topics including voting, the environment, the cost of transport in the capital, and next May’s mayoral election.
Acknowledging the low “youth” turnout at the general election, Mr Goldsmith said: “It’s not because they feel apathetic, but people feel disenfranchised.”
Mr Goldsmith also repeated his backing for David Cameron’s “zero-tolerance” policy on antisemitism.
