NIGHTINGALE HAMMERSON is in discussions to provide a second site for Wimbledon Jewish nursery, Apples and Honey, at Nightingale’s Clapham premises, furthering a long-time relationship.

Apples and Honey principal, Judith Ish-Horowicz, said: “Over the past 25 years, a generation of children at Apples and Honey Wimbledon have visited residents at Nightingale. We are really excited by the prospect of opening a new nursery that will allow us to offer our services to families in Wandsworth.”

Nightingale chief executive, Helen Simmons, saw the venture as “a great way to increase our inter-generational activities for our residents, most of whom love watching kids play and having conversations with them”.

Although centred on Jewish values and traditions, Apples and Honey accepts children from all faiths.
