BRUM BRUNCH GETS POLE PO­SI­TION

KRAKOW JEWISH Com­mu­nity Cen­tre ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor Jonathan Orn­stein told a World Jewish Re­lief brunch in Birm­ing­ham that Jewish life is thriv­ing in Poland. He said that young Poles dis­cov­er­ing their Jewish roots were at­tend­ing the cen­tre, which runs a va­ri­ety of clubs and ac­tiv­i­ties. He es­ti­mated that there could be tens of thou­sands of “hid­den” Jews in Poland that the cen­tre could reach out to. The event raised £10,000.
