FOUR TO STAND FOR TOP STUDENT JOB
FOUR CANDIDATES will vie to be elected the next president of the Union of Jewish Students.
Joel Salmon from St Andrews University, Josh Seitler from the London School of Economics, Jake Berger at Oxford University, and Alex Tansey from Durham University, will battle it out over a 10-day campaign to win the year-long position.
This is the first time since 2007 that four candidates have competed for the job.
Current president Hannah Brady was elected after standing uncontested last year. She said the contest would be “an opportunity for all of our members to have a say and influence over the future”.
A hustings will be held later this month, with the winner announced on December 16.
