A CONFERENCE on how Israel is represented in academic discussions will take place next year as part of an agreement between Exeter University and the Jewish Leadership Council. The event, at the university, next February, will feature academics, students and representatives from the Jewish community. Earlier this year the community raised concerns that a conference on “Settler Colonialism in Palestine” would be anti-Israel. It went ahead after Exeter agreed to invite two pro-Israel speakers, as well as promising to organise a second conference.
