Bosz up for Tel Aviv test

FOOT­BALL PETER Bosz has set his sights on guid­ing Mac­cabi Tel Aviv to a fourth con­sec­u­tive Li­gat Ha’Al ti­tle af­ter tak­ing over as man­ager.

Bosz was in­tro­duced to Mac­cabi fans this week af­ter suc­ceed­ing Slav­isa Jokanovic on an 18-month con­tract.

Bosz, 52, left Vitesse Arn­hem to be­come the lat­est boss from over­seas to lead the Is­raeli cham­pi­ons.

He said: “Mac­cabi ap­proached me sev­eral times and hav­ing lis­tened to their plans I’ve de­cided to ac­cept the chal­lenge. I want to help the play­ers im­prove in­di­vid­u­ally and as a team and take them to a higher level.”
