Pecan, oat and date bread

450g self-rais­ing flour 1 tsp bi­car­bon­ate of soda 70g rolled or­ganic oats 80g soft brown sugar 110g pecans 3 tsp all­spice 30g lin­seeds 80g dates 150ml milk 3 tbsp honey 1 egg 3 tbsp pome­gran­ate mo­lasses 3 tbsp olive oil


Heat your oven to 170°C and line a 22cm bread tin with bak­ing pa­per.

Mix the flour, bi­car­bon­ate of soda, oats, sugar, pecans, spice, lin­seeds and dates in a bowl.

Add the milk, honey, egg, Do not over mix — we do not want the gluten de­vel­oped in this bread
