Five op­tions for Pe­sach by the sea

Spend Pe­sach over­look­ing the Mediter­ranean at Le Meri­dien Ra Beach Ho­tel and Spa, a five-star ho­tel, on a sandy beach in Costa Dau­rada, Cat­alo­nia, just an hour’s drive south of Barcelona.

Rooms are spa­cious and mod­ern, most with sea views. There are in­door and out­door pools, a spa (treat­ments at ad­di­tional cost) and chil­dren’s play­ground.

The ho­tel is be­ing taken over for Pe­sach for 10 nights, from April 21 to May 1 and the pack­age in­cludes two Sedarim, three meals a day, wine and bar and day-long tea and coffee. Cater­ing is glatt kosher with­out kit­niot.

There is a chil­dren’s pro­gramme, as well as lec­tures, per­for­mances and op­tional ex­cur­sions dur­ing chol hamoed (booked lo­cally at ad­di­tional cost). Flights can be ar­ranged to Barcelona from Lu­ton, Heathrow and many re­gional air­ports.

The Ital­ian re­gion of Tus­cany is known for its lush land­scape. Forte dei Marmi, in its north­ern re­gion, de­liv­ers both the coun­try­side and the seafront. The Cal­i­for­nia Park Ho­tel nes­tles in a large park and has a spa, out­door heated swim­ming pool, nearby ten­nis courts and 18-hole golf course and a kids’ club. The Passover of­fer­ing in­cludes lec­tures, evening en­ter­tain­ment, gourmet cui­sine (glatt kosher) and op­tional guided tours to Pisa, Florence, Gen­ova and Lucca.
