STANMORE estate agent Preston Bennett has become a sponsor of its local cricket club, which was established in 1853.

Stanmore CC has been home club to a variety of test and county players over the past 160 years, including Angus Fraser and Mark Ramprakash.

The latter still sometimes plays at the club when he has time off from his England Test coaching duties.

Preston Bennett, which works in association with estate agent Hamptons International, recently celebrated its own half-century in business.

Sue Fisher, managing director at Preston Bennett, says that Stanmore Cricket Club’s longevity is something that she wishes her firm to emulate.

“Our unwavering commitment and dedication to the local community are elements that we share with the Stanmore Cricket Club,” she says.

“We sincerely look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”
