Flixton won ugly, says Rosenberg
FOOTBALL TONY Rosenberg insists the result was all that mattered after AFC Flixton returned to the top of the Accounts Premier Division — after a seven-week break.
Joint-boss Rosenberg claimed Flixton were rusty after running out winners over PWC.
Jordan Keeling was among the goalscorers as Flixton ended a long wait to play due to a string of postponements because of the adverse weather conditions.
Rosenberg said: “We were well off the pace. It was a like a pre-season game and it was very frustrating watching from the sidelines.
“It was a game full of mistakes, played on a heavy pitch, but the important thing was the win.”
