OAKWOOD 5 FC TEAM A 1
FOOTBALL DAN Kristall believes March will “make or break” Oakwood’s season after they extended their lead at the summit to seven points following a routine win over FC Team A.
Two goals from Zack Collins plus one apiece from Le or Sid le, David Woolman and an own goal boosted their chances of winning the MGBSFL Premier Division.
Oakwood joint-manager Kristall commented: “We now focus on our tough run-in that begins in March. We know how difficult the three games will be but we have the momentum and we will prepare well over the coming weeks. “In the meantime, we know the results of our title rivals could prove vital, but we have the opportunity to control our own fate and that is a strong position to be in. “Up next is a resurgent Raiders side who have been free-scoring of late.
“We always have very close matches against them and know how difficult it will be.
“We will have to be at our best in March to stay in the race.”
