PSC’s Napier is convicted

THE SCOTTISH Palestine Solidarity Campaign leader Mick Napier pleaded guilty to aggravated trespass at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday following a protest outside Barclays Bank over its investment in Israel’s Iron Dome defence company Raytheon.

Napier — who was accused of intimidating bank staff —was sentenced to 70 hours community service to be completed within four months.

The SPSC chair had previously disrupted events including an appearance by the Israeli dance group Batsheva at Edinburgh’s Playhouse Theatre.
