Quer­cus has just pub­lished Washington-based jour­nal­ist Sacha Batthyány’s mem­oir, A Crime in the Fam­ily (£16.99), trans­lated from the Ger­man by the ex­cel­lent Anthea Bell. The nar­ra­tive is based upon an atroc­ity com­mit­ted in the grand an­ces­tral home of the au­thor’s great-aunt Count­ess Batthyány in 1945.
