COMPTOIR DES COTONNIERS

The Jewish Chronicle - - FASHION -

French style is hard to beat. The French always look effortlessly elegant, whether they’re wearing their weekend casuals or tailored work-day uniform. But that’s no reason why we Brits can’t try to keep up. In fact, thanks to the influx of French fashion coming to our shores, it’s a great opportunity to try and copycat Breton stripes, camel tones and timeless spirit. Comptoir des Cotonniers is a great place to start. Since opening its first stores in 1995, its success has continued to grow due to the perfect balance of modernity, sophistication and easy-to-wear clothing. The bulk of every collection makes up the basics of every woman’s wardrobe but with surprise elements too, such as jumpsuits and gaucho pants that add a contemporary twist. You won’t find a bargain but you will find quality finishes that will stand the test of time.
