Happy Mother’s Day

The Jewish Chronicle - - LIFE -

return, you’ll receive a 12.3-inch high-resolution screen with Hollywood blockbuster graphics – well worth the additional £250

4 The Q5 is available in three trim levels – SE, Sport and S Line – and all equipped with LED daytime running lights, front and rear, MMI SatNav, heated front seats, parking sensors and a powered tailgate.

5 Good residual prices should mean low leasing costs.

This Sunday, lest we forget, is Mother’s Day, and if you’re looking for something a little more special to give to your mum than a bunch of supermarket flowers, then Hexagon Classics in North London may hold the answer. They have probably one of the best examples of the Mercedes R107 for sale. Incredibly, this 500SL has been in a timewarp since 1989 and covered just 965 miles from new. Launched in 1971, the R107 is more fondly known as the Bobby Ewing Mercedes (not in my eyes though; it was the car that first brought Pamela Ewing into the life of a certain prepubescent boy) and had a production run of over 18 years. This is one of the last R107s ever built and is flawless in every aspect. It features a 242bhp 5.0-litre V8 engine, cruise control, air conditioning, heated seats and a separate hard top. The paintwork is as it left the factory and the cream leather seats are like new. It does come with £94,995 asking price, though. So Mum, if you’re reading this, I hate to disappoint you but you’re getting flowers again. Happy Mother’s Day and I love you x.
