Forgotten holocaust

The Jewish Chronicle - - LIFE -

Renowned theatre director Stephen Unwin has drawn on his own experiences as the father of a severely disabled young man for his new play All Our Children, which focuses on the slaughter of thousands of disabled people by the Nazis between 1939 and 1941, because they were judged to be “lives not worth living”. The play is Unwin’s first, despite his long career in the theatre. As the son of a German Jewish immigrant himself, Unwin was drawn to examine the moral questions surrounding this “forgotten holocaust”.

All Our Children is at the Jermyn Street Theatre from April 26. www.jermynstreettheatre.co.uk
