Perfect 10 in Barnet

CHIPPING BARNET MP Theresa Villiers was among the guests at a Shabbat at Barnet Synagogue celebrating Barry and Naomi Lerer’s 10 years as the congregation’s rabbinic couple. Gifts from the community included a personalised Liverpool shirt and a decorative charity box. In a letter, Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis praised Rabbi Lerer as “an outstanding orator, counsellor, organiser and motivator. As both rabbi and friend to many, you are a source of comfort, guidance and inspiration.”
