EVERYONE’S WEARING... SLOGAN TEES

-

Models and fashionistas let their clothes do the talking It was once considered tacky to wear a label emblazoned on your chest for all to see. It’s a show-off tactic for wearing designer and being proud of it. This soon died with 80s fashion (unless you're a teen, into sportswear) apart from GAP of course — the High Street chain has always loved their label, be it on kidswear and adultwear. Their signature logo hoodies have been bestsellers for years — I’m still trying to work out why!

I do everything I can to avoid obvious labels. Even a Ralph Lauren polo icon feels wrong to me. But then along come Gucci and Victoria Beckham, creating a laid back look which is suitable teamed with both your denims and your leather skirt too. It’s a rockchick, streetwear style that’s got celebrities in a tizzy of excitement. And I admit it looks pretty damn cool too.
