Aid­ing the vul­ner­a­ble

THROUGH A part­ner­ship with Save the Chil­dren, a char­ity sup­port­ing vul­ner­a­ble Or­tho­dox fam­i­lies has dis­trib­uted more than 300 es­sen­tial items to Stam­ford Hill house­holds.

Ezer Ley­ol­dos linked up with Save the Chil­dren’s Eat, Sleep, Learn, Play pro­gramme four years ago.

Since then, in ex­cess of 200 fam­i­lies have been helped. Goods dis­trib­uted have in­cluded 63 cot beds, 23 fridge freez­ers and 10 pushchairs. Many fam­i­lies also re­ceived a £75 voucher to­wards ba­sic house­hold goods.

Irv­ing Licht­man of Ezer Ley­ol­dos said it en­deav­oured “to pro­vide fam­i­lies and chil­dren in need with a bet­ter fu­ture. The part­ner­ship has helped us do that.”
