CY­CLING ZAK Demp­ster of the Is­rael Cy­cling Academy sprinted into seventh place with Krists Nei­lands just be­hind, in the large bunch of 52 rid­ers at the fin­ish of the 183km Pru­den­tial Lon­don-Sur­rey Clas­sic in the Mall in cen­tral Lon­don.

The lead­ing group were all cred­ited with the same time of 4:05:41.

From the start, also in The Mall, the route left Lon­don for the Sur­rey Hills be­fore re­turn­ing to fin­ish. The race had split into sev­eral group­ings with ICA rider Ben Perry 76th in 4:14:45.

Is­raeli star moun­tain biker Noga Korem (Gi­ant Is­rael) con­tin­ued to shine in the En­duro World Se­ries event in As­pen, USA, where she was placed seventh at the in­ter­na­tional event.

Ju­nior moun­tain biker Tomer Salz­man showed great po­ten­tial by fin­ish­ing fifth at the European Cham­pi­onship Cross Coun­try Olympic event in Darfo Boario, Italy, in 1:01:13.
