A sticky honey sit­u­a­tion

WITH ROSH Hashanah around the cor­ner, Equal, the not-for-profit busi­ness run by the char­ity Kisharon, ad­ver­tised in last week’s JC of­fer­ing the op­por­tu­nity to buy per­son­alised honey jars.

But with so many peo­ple rush­ing to take ad­van­tage of this sweet deal, Kisharon found that their honey wasn’t runny so much as run­ning out. Bev­er­ley Kay, Equal’s cre­ative head of Equal, pro­vided re­as­sur­ance for wor­ried cus­tomers — emer­gency sup­plies were on their way. “We should be OK,” she said.
